But most importantly, the candle's vanilla scent is not nearly as pleasant as that of my first 5 orders. None of this is a reflection of Favor Favor-it is product defect. However, delivery time was longer than expected. GOOD NEWS: The product price is competitive with that of other distributors. Response to my inquiries were prompt and polite.

They'll be great for all the guests who are staying in hotels for the wedding because they can go back and light them in their rooms! And of course for the people who aren't in hotels too... But since my fiance and I travel a lot, I'm excited that we'll have some leftover for our travels as well! One of my bridesmaids and myself are going to tie the candles with some matchbooks with colored ribbon for the guests and I think they're going to look great! If only I liked the color of the matchbooks.... And the price was THE BEST I found online!! I was able to keep the order of 150 candles (I'm pretty sure that's how many we ordered- something around that number) right around $100 which was my goal! I'm so happy I found this website!!!

I also printed personalized stickers to put on the candles to make the perfect favor for my guests! It's also nice not to have to order 1000 of them. As I said, I am having a small wedding and I couldn't have found a more perfect favor!

I haven't lit any of them yet since I'm saving them for my part of my wedding favors in September, but everyone I've showed them to have thought they were lovely. I plan on making DIY 1.75" stickers to put on top. They're perfect, really.
Marcia (Chesapeake, VA), 6/19/2009 2009-06-19 I bought these cute travel candles to go with personalized match books, to go inside Hospitality bags (along with other items) for out of town guests traveling to my son's wedding. They smell lovely and are just the right size. I did note that the clear lid is very thin plastic, and in some cases, the lid fell inside toward the candle once I removed the lid for the first time. I couldn't get some of them to sit flat back inside the lid. I bought personalized labels with a lovely monogram to go on the top of each of these candles, so had to be very careful to assure the plastic lid part would not cave in. They looked beautiful in the bag with all the other special things the guests had to look forward too.

Linda advised me to purchase clear round labels and print the bride's name and the date of the shower on them, and then stick them right on the top of the candle box. We did that, printed it in pink, put a little umbrella in between Dana's Shower and the date, and they looked (and smelled) just great!!! Thanks FavorFavor!! I'll definitely use you for Dana's upcoming wedding! |
