I am a porcelain artist and our club is using the compacts to embellish with an inch and a half porcelain disc we paint with flowers, butterflies, etc. When finished with the final firing of our disc, we glue it to the top of the compact and glue beads all around the disc to the edges of the compact. We will use the, now fancy, compacts as one of our fundraisers to help add money to our treasury.
