Wedding Favor Tips and Tid-Bits

So many of you have asked how to best present our favors, either as placecard holders or individual favors on the reception table, or even if all wedding favors are on one table for guests to take when they leave.

Let's think outside the box!

Placecard Frames: Of course, this wedding favor, if they are basically for place cards or table seating, and most likely will be on a table when your guests first come into the reception hall. The place cards come within the frames and our place card holders can serve multiple uses; however, some of you may want to personalize these re-usable wedding favors to some extent.

Perhaps you'd like to add stickers. These can be anything! You may want to add hearts, or champagne glasses, or butterflies, or ones that says "Just Married," or any other sticker of your choice. Of course, these make wonderful keepsake wedding gifts for your guests to use for whatever they want later on! I've heard of them being used for the picture of the bride and groom, as a business card holder, or any other memento that is important to your guests. The place card holders can also be decorated with stickers, and can serve double duty as well for your guests. When they get them home, these holders can be used for pictures, memos, recipe cards, or, again, any other purpose your guests may find for them!

Of course, all of our place card frames and place card holders wedding favors can meet specific needs for any occasion, such as Bridal Showers, Engagement Parties, Baby Showers, Communion favors, and/or themed events.

If you are planning a themed wedding, such as a Beach Wedding, our Sea Shell Place card Frames and Place card holders can be the first introduction to your guests. Once they are seated, a similarly themed wedding favor, such as our beautiful beach themed candle can be placed at each table setting, or on one table for your guests to take when they leave.

A themed wedding consists of more than one or two favaors to create the theme. Perhaps you'd like to create centerpieces. One idea, again for a beach themed wedding, might be to purchase a cone-shaped piece of Styrofoam, spray paint it a lovely blue to give your guests the feeling of sky or water, and then hot glue a variety of seashells, or other aquatic items. Place this cone on a large round mirror, and sprinkle sand around the styrofoam. This is an inexpensive alternative to flowers.

Other "outside the box" ideas: If you are purchasing one of our Wine or Bar Favors, another centerpiece idea would be to purchase a magnum of champagne or bottle of wine, and an attractive ice-bucket. Plastic ice cubes can surround the magnum and a hidden number under one of the guest's settings will determine who will take home the champagne or wine and the ice bucket!

Baby shower favors, too, can be creatively displayed! If your affair is a baby shower, and it will be at a restaurant or other location where there is table seating, again, you may have one of any of our adorable baby-themed place card frames or place card holders to greet your guests at the welcoming table. As centerpieces, again, rather than flowers, perhaps a large teddy bear, dressed in a onesie, or baby sweater and hat, seated on a soft baby blanket and surrounded by soft plastic blocks, would do the trick! The added benefit, of course, is the extra gifts for the Mom-To-Be, in the form of clothing and blankets. You might even want to have each table decoration dressed in different outfits and with blankets or baby towels.
