Evis (Chicago, IL), 11/15/2009 2009-11-15 I figured since this stopper was considered a higer end favor it would be nicer, but I was very disappointed when I received it. First, it was very light weight which made it seem very cheap. The actual star was nice, but the bottom part wasn't even silver! It's definitely not a shiny silver like you see in the picture. It seemed like it was just covered with aluminum foil from how light it was! Quality was not that great for me. I had to get creative with the packaging and presentation since I was going to give it away as a wedding favor.

I did change out the favor tags with ones that matched all the other wedding stationary though. They are a little lighter weight (the starfish is hollow) than I thought...but they were perfect for my Hawaiian wedding :)

Ordering was easy and delivery was quick. They are packaged nicely and will make a great favor. I wish the starfish was solid to give it a little more weight and substance, but overall they are a great buy. I am glad we made the decision to order them.
carolyn (little egg harbor, NJ), 8/16/2009 2009-08-16 i bought these for a beach theme bridal shower....they were perfect. cute packaging, great price. i did get the personalized tags and they were a little bit of a pain....they come on sheets of paper and need to be punched out - and the paper is thin, so you have to be careful. having said that, the tags did look cute after all that work.

The box they come in is actually really nice and I am going to leave them in. I am making my own thank you tags instead of the heart ones it comes with. They are pretty heavy and do not feel 'cheap' at all. The starfish on top screws in, so it doesn't feel like it will fall off or anything. I think the starfish part is heavy plastic but it doesn't look or feel like it. I am very happy with the favors and everyone I have shown loves them. It will go perfect with my winery/beachy theme wedding in august! |
